Hello sweet friends! I’m so sorry that I haven’t posted in so long! I’ve got to update you on my busy July, with a few snapshots, of course! I just wrapped up teaching summer school last week and spent my first day off doing important things like getting my hair cut, getting two fillings, buying bras (thanks, #nordysale!), grocery shopping, and rearranging the furniture in my apartment. Mundane, I know, but it feels so good cranking out items that have been on my to-do list all month.
I’ve also been trying to get back to the things that make me happiest and preparing for what I hope will be my best school year yet. Each day after summer school I zipped over to my school and worked on my classroom for a couple hours before hitting the gym and then cruising home in the 90+ degree heat. I love the hot weather, but you guys, with this much humidity it’s been oppressive here in Seattle. Luckily I’ve enjoyed some beautiful beach days here and there and a few parties and fun evenings out. So far it’s been a fun and busy summer.
Now that I’m done working for the summer I’m looking forward to getting back into posting here regularly, rearranging my furniture and art for the millionth time, shooting outfits, and I’ll be working on yet another new project: my teaching blog Thurston for Knowledge. I just posted for the first time a couple days ago and I’m so thrilled about this new opportunity. I’m also planning to open my own store on Teachers Pay Teachers, as well, so wish me luck!
