Gosh, it feels good to be back! It’s been months since I sat down to share my thoughts and ideas here at Lindsay Living. A myriad of factors kept me away for so long, and as I’m sure you well know, sometimes life just gets in the way. I spent most of my weekend redesigning the site so that it’s a little prettier and easier to use, and I’m excited to get back into the routine. Listing story ideas, snapping photos, gathering suggestions and sharing them with you; I’ve got so many ideas in the works! I have a brand new notebook full of topics to discuss, and more than anything I just can’t wait to begin connecting with each of you again.
While digging through my photos from the last year, in search of posts I never got around to writing, I happened upon some beautiful shots I took from my windows last summer. Although it’s slowly beginning to warm up here in Seattle, I find myself yearning for longer days, sunshine, and those cotton candy lingering sunsets. On a clear day you can even see the Olympic Mountain range. Although my little studio is decidedly small, it makes up for it’s lack of space with an amazing view and lively neighborhood. No matter where life takes me, I always feel so satisfied looking out onto a city I love so much when I return home.
I found lots of other photos and plan to take a lot more in the coming weeks. I’m planning to get back into outfit posting, sharing my favorite music and concert photos, and recapping some of the best travel adventures I had in 2016 that never made it onto the blog. 2017 is also a year full of fresh resolutions for me, many of which I’m already hard at work on. But one of the biggest resolutions? Getting Lindsay Living back into shape, and continuing to create a space where I can share and document the learning and adventures that the coming year has to bring.
